Chia-Lun Chang

Chia-Lun Chang is the author of a chapbook, One Day We Become Whites (No, Dear/Small Anchor Press, 2016) and a recipient of fellowships from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, The Center for Book Arts and Poets House. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, she lives in New York City.


I’m not capable of refracting any color
until blood
comes from my
thighs

“You smelled like pork”
lust pink
raw livers

He never sees colors
until his white hair
grows from
tomb
